The range of mountains in Southern Spain known as the Sierra Nevada is one of Spain’s best-kept secrets. For those wanting to enjoy a spot of skiing the Sierra Nevada is one of the sunniest ski resorts in Europe and is much more affordable than similar winter sport resorts in France. The resort offers a great selection of shops for ski and snowboard equipment (see opposite for approximate costs).
